How do I find chargers for my Ford electric vehicle?

You can find public charging stations for your electric vehicle (EV) by using the FordPass®* App or your SYNC®** system.

Locating an EV Charger

Confirm your FordPass experience by checking the app version at the bottom of the Settings screen, and select from the drop-down options below:

FordPass 4.X Experience

To locate an EV charger using version 4 of the FordPass App:

  1. Select View Chargers on the home screen. A list of nearby chargers will display.
  2. Select your preferred filter options:
    • Charge Speed: Regular (AC up to 22 kW), Fast (DC up to 120 kW), Ultra Fast (DC 120+ kW)
    • Availability
    • Ford Network (In-Network)
    • Plug & Charge (P&C)
  3. Select Done to apply filters.

FordPass5.X Experience

To locate an EV charger using the all-new version 5 of FordPass:

  1. Open FordPass and tap Energy.
  2. Select Public Charging from the Charge section. A list of nearby chargers will display. By default, chargers are filtered by:
    • Available Now
    • Ultra Fast Only
  3. Tap the Filters button for more filter options.

You will not be able to view nearby chargers if you have deactivated:

The Public Charging App

To locate an EV charger using your vehicle's touchscreen, use the Public Charging App:

  1. Tap the Home icon.
  2. Select the Public Charging app. A list of nearby chargers will display
  3. Tap the Filter icon for more filter options.
