How do I adjust Pre-Collision Assist Alert sensitivity?

How do I adjust the Pre-Collision Assist Alert sensitivity in my Ford?

If you perceive pre-collision assist alerts as being too frequent, you can reduce the alert sensitivity with the controls on your dashboard.

Ford recommends using the highest sensitivity setting where possible. Setting lower sensitivity would lead to fewer and delayed system warnings.

To adjust the Pre-Collision alert sensitivity:

  1. Scroll to Driver Assist using the five-way controls on your steering wheel*.

Display Center menu with Driver Assist highlighted

  2. Select Pre-Collision.
  3. Choose Alert Sensitivity.
  4. Select one of the three available alert sensitivity options: High, Normal, or Low.
