What This Phone As A Key Software Update Does

Phone As A Key with personal profiles lets you create, pair with, and save a unique profile. Once your profile is established and connected to your paired phone or key fob, Phone As A Key enables your vehicle to recognize you — automatically signing you into your profile when you unlock your vehicle and saving your settings while you’re active. You’ll now also be able to sign in to your profile through your in-vehicle screen.

This software update gives you the ability to edit and save your Phone As A Key settings from your in vehicle Profile screen.

This Phone As A Key with personal profiles enhancement gives you the ability to create a unique profile that can then automatically save your settings.

Where You Can Find This Phone As A Key Software Update in Your Vehicle

You’ll find Phone As A Key enhancements on your in-vehicle screen, where you can now edit your Phone As A Key profile. Do so at Profile > Edit > Phone.

When You Should Use This Phone As A Key Software Update

You’ll want to set up your profile right away to make the most of this update. Then, with automatic sign-in enabled, your driver profile will be paired and ready as soon as you enter the vehicle.
