Why was SmartLink discontinued for FordPass^®?

Due to lack of interest in the FordPass/Lincoln SmartLink device, Ford Motor Company has made the difficult decision to discontinue the SmartLink Program. All Ford/Lincoln SmartLink devices became inoperable on December 15, 2019.

SmartLink has decommissioned and all devices have been disconnected.
