How do I manage my preferred Ford Dealer settings in the FordPass App?

Using the Service screen of FordPass®*, you can search for a dealer and set or change your preferred dealership. Doing so allows you to interact with your Ford Dealership about your next service, find directions, access contact information, and view hours of operation. 

Important: A vehicle must be added to your FordPass account before you can set up a preferred dealership. 

Managing Your Preferred Dealer

To set, change, or search for a dealer, select from the drop-down options below for more details.

Setting a Preferred Dealer

  1. Open the FordPass App.
  2. Select the Service screen. 
  3. Tap Set a Preferred Dealer.
  4. Read and select Accept on the Goggle consent prompt. Selecting Deny disables your location services. 

    Note: This prompt only appears once. If it does not appear, it means you completed your consent.
     
  5. Choose a dealer from the list that appears or manually look up one using the search bar. 
  6. Tap the Star on the far right-hand corner of the dealer tile. 

A success check will appear at the bottom of the screen and your Preferred Dealer will appear on the Service screen.

Changing a Preferred Dealer

  1. Open the FordPass App.
  2. Select the Service screen. 
  3. Tap the combined Star and Pencil icon.
  4. Choose a dealer from the list that appears or manually look up one using the search bar. 
  5. Tap the star on the far right-hand corner of the dealer tile. 

A success check will appear at the bottom of the screen and your new Preferred Dealer will appear on the Service screen.
