How do I turn my Ford vehicle's Wi-Fi hotspot on and off?

You can turn on your Wi-Fi hotspot®* using your vehicle's SYNC®** screen.

To enable and disable your Wi-Fi hotspot:

  1. Access your vehicle. 
  2. Ensure your vehicle is on, running, in park, and in a well-ventilated area. 
  3. Tap the Vehicle image.
  4. Select Vehicle Hotspot.
  5. Toggle the slider to the right to turn on your Wi-Fi hotspot and to the left to turn it off.
