How do I deactivate the memory presets on my Ford key fob?
You can remove the memory presets of the driver seat, power mirrors, steering column, and foot pedals (if equipped) using the numbered memory buttons located on the driver's door.
To clear your memory presets:
- Press and hold the memory button (located on the driver's door) you want to delete for five seconds. A tone will sound when the memory wipe is complete.
- Continue to hold the button until you hear a second tone.
- Within three seconds of the second tone, press the Unlock button on your key fob.
