How do I set up the memory feature?

How do I set up the memory feature in my Ford?

If your vehicle is equipped with the memory feature, it can remember the position of the driver's seat, power mirrors, steering column, and power-adjustable pedals (if equipped). The numbered memory buttons are located on the driver's door.

Depending on your vehicle, you may be able to set two or three different memory positions for individual drivers.

Vehicles with Two Preset Positions

To use the memory feature in a vehicle with two preset positions:

  1. Switch your ignition on.
  2. Adjust the driver's seat, power mirrors, steering column, and power-adjustable foot pedals to your preferred position.
  3. Press and hold the SET button until you hear a single tone.
  4. Press and hold the preset numbered memory button you want to save your settings to until you hear another single tone. Your settings are now saved.

Vehicles with Three Preset Positions

To use the memory feature in a vehicle with three preset positions:

  1. Switch your ignition on.
  2. Adjust the driver's seat, power mirrors, steering column, and power-adjustable foot pedals to your preferred position.
  3. Press and hold the numbered memory button until you hear a single tone.
