How do I adjust my Ford vehicle's steering wheel?

You can change the position of your steering wheel by unlocking the steering column and moving it

To alter your steering wheel's position:

  1. Ensure you are comfortable in your seat. This will help you find the best wheel position for your driving preferences.
  2. Unlock the steering column by either pulling the release lever down and away from you or down and toward you.

Note: The release lever design varies. Refer to your Owner's Manual for more information specific to your vehicle.

  3. Move the steering wheel to your preferred position by moving it up, down, further, or closer to you.
  4. Lock your wheel's position by pushing the release lever in the opposite direction.
