How do I use the Mustang Mach-E frunk?

The frunk is located under the hood, where an engine would typically be. Discover ways to use your frunk using the information below.

Opening and Closing the Frunk

To open the frunk, you can:

• Double-pull the hood latch inside the footwell.
• Use the FordPass^®* App.
• Press the soft button on the center-stack SYNC^®** touchscreen.
• Use the SecuriCode Keyless entry keypad by pressing 7/8 after entering your code.

To close the frunk, lower the hood and apply downward force.

Using the Frunk as Cargo Space

The Mustang Mach-E frunk is:

• 4.7 cu. ft. of cargo volume^†.
• Big enough to hold a carry-on-size suitcase.
• Made of water-resistant construction completely sealed from the elements, providing wet and dry storage for groceries or other small items.
• Usable as a cooler. The frunk has a drainage hole at the bottom of the plastic liner for ice to melt through.
