How do I use my Ford's rain-sensing wipers?
Your vehicle may be equipped with rain-sensing wipers that automatically turn on in bad weather and adjust their speed based on how wet the windshield gets. You can change the sensitivity and turn the wipers on or off using the windshield wiper stalk.

Enabling or Disabling the Rain-Sensing Windshield Wiper Feature
Once the system is turned on, you do not need to activate, deactivate, or adjust the wiper speed under normal driving conditions.

Adjusting the Sensitivity of Your Rain-Sensing Wipers
The higher the sensitivity, the faster and more often your wipers will wipe.
Refer to the table below for instructions on adjusting the sensitivity of your wipers based on the type of windshield wiper stalk your vehicle is equipped with. For information specific to your vehicle, see your Owner's Manual.

Adjust the sensitivity using the stalk by rotating the inner ring up for higher sensitivity and down for lower sensitivity. | Turn the dial at the end of the stalk forwards to increase the sensitivity and backwards to decrease it. |
Turning Off Your Rain-Sensing Windshield Wipers
