How do I customize my driver profile in the Mustang Mach-E?
Customizing your driver profile is an easy way to make your Mustang Mach-E truly your own. Each driver can personalize their settings. Best of all, it can be done from the convenience of your couch.
Even before your Mustang Mach-E arrives, you can choose many of your profile settings through Remote Vehicle Setup via FordPass® on your smartphone* or through your account at owner.ford.com. Follow the simple steps to create a profile (name, avatar, initials) and set departure times so your vehicle is charged up when you’re ready to go. You can set navigation favorites and even choose a preferred Mode that adjusts ambient lighting, the way the vehicle handles and the sounds of your vehicle.
Remote Vehicle Setup configurations live in the cloud before you send your profile to your Mustang Mach-E. When you get your new vehicle, you’ll send these personal settings to your vehicle via the FordPass App.* After your preferences are applied, you can manage the features configured from the app or in your vehicle.**
By setting departure times and climate controls, you’re pre-conditioning your Mustang Mach-E. Preconditioning has many benefits, including making sure your battery is charged and it could also help preserve range. Use Departure Times to begin cabin conditioning (heat or cool) while your vehicle is plugged in.† This helps ensure that your vehicle is ready for the upcoming drive and you do not use the energy from the battery to heat or cool the cabin at the beginning of your trip. You can set the departure times in the vehicle or by using the FordPass App.* Plus, when you set climate controls, you ensure the inside of your vehicle is always just the right temperature when you get in.
*FordPass App, compatible with select smartphone platforms, is available via a download. Message and data rates may apply.
**FordPass Connect™ (optional on select vehicles), the Ford Pass App., and complimentary Connected Service are required for remote features (see FordPass Terms for details). Connected service and features depend on compatible AT&T network availability. Evolving technology/cellular networks/vehicle capability may limit functionality and prevent operation of connected features. Connected service excludes Wi-Fi hotspot.
†Effectiveness of cabin conditioning may be reduced by extreme outside temperatures or when using 120-volt charging.
