How do I find the Gross Vehicle Weight of my Ford?

The Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of a vehicle is the Base Curb Weight plus actual Cargo Weight and passengers. GVW is not a limit or specification, it is the actual weight that is obtained when the fully loaded vehicle is driven onto a scale.

The GVW must not exceed the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR), which can be obtained from the Safety Compliance Certification Label located on the driver's door, commonly referred to as the Door Jamb Label.
