2021—2022 Ford Bronco® SUV — Side Crash Sensors Recall

The safety of you and your passengers is key to every vehicle we build. That is why we’ve issued a recall for some 2021-2022 Bronco® SUV models after an inspection identified improperly secured side crash sensors. You can check to see if your Bronco is included by entering your VIN here.
If your vehicle is affected, you will be notified by mail to take it to a Ford Dealer or Lincoln Retailer to have the side impact sensor attachments inspected and repaired. Your dealer may even be able to send a mobile technician to inspect and service your Bronco SUV where you are and at your convenience. Participating dealers even allow you to book an appointment online, in your FordPass® App., or contact your local Ford Dealer.

Manufacturing facility personnel identified certain vehicles that required secondary checks for an improper side impact sensor installation. While the issue was properly detected, inspection and repair instructions may have been misunderstood and the side impact sensor mounting assembly may not have been inspected or repaired.
