2021—2023 F-150® Trucks — Rear Wiring Harness Safety Recall

Electronic key fob for a Ford vehicle

Recall Reference Number: 23S35

Keeping Ford drivers and passengers safe is our most important job and making sure you’re comfortable driving your vehicle is our top priority. That is why we are issuing a safety recall for 2021-2023 F-150® trucks that have a single exhaust system.

In affected trucks, the rear axle wiring harness bundle may rub against the rear axle housing, causing inadvertent application of the parking brake, and/or issues with the rear wheel speed sensors and electronic locking rear differential. This may lead to a loss of control of the vehicle and increase the risk of a crash.

These vehicles need to be inspected and repaired if damaged.

Owners with affected trucks will be contacted directly starting September 11. You can also confirm your recall status by entering your VIN here.

If you have any questions or concerns about this F-150 safety recall, please call 1-866-436-7332 and reference 23S35. A Ford Recall team member will be happy to assist you.

Thank you for being a Ford owner.
