How do I change the SYNC system language?
You can change the language of your SYNC®* system using the instructions and translations contained in this article.
Updating the SYNC System Language
Select your SYNC generation from the drop-down options below to learn how to change the language your SYNC system is using. If you need assistance determining the generation of your SYNC system, select the first drop-down option.

SYNC Gen 1
- Press Aux repeatedly until SYNC appears.
- Press Menu. Media Menu will momentarily appear on the radio display.
- Scroll repeatedly until System Settings appears on the radio display.
- Press OK to confirm and enter the System Settings menu.
- Scroll until Advanced appears on the radio display.
- Press OK to confirm and enter the Advanced menu.
- Scroll repeatedly until Language appears in the radio display.
- Press OK to enter the Language menu.
- Scroll to choose your language (English, Français, or Español).
