How do I personalize my SYNC 4A settings?

You can personalize your SYNC®* 4A experience using the Settings menu with the instructions contained in this article.

Creating a Personal Profile

Important: Your vehicle must be parked and running, and in an open location (e.g., free of overhead foliage, ceilings, etc.). 

  1. Tap the Settings or Home icon on your vehicle's SYNC screen.
  2. Press Personal Profile.
  3. Slide the Personal Profiles toggle On.
  4. Select Add Profile then follow the instructions.

*Don’t drive while distracted. Use voice-operated systems when possible; don’t use handheld devices while driving. Some features may be locked out while the vehicle is in gear. Not all features are compatible with all phones.
