How do I set up a charging location with SYNC 4A?

You can customize your charging preferences with SYNC^®* 4A using the instructions in this article.

To set up a charging location:

1. Tap the Settings or Home icon on your vehicle's SYNC screen.
2. Tap Charge.
3. Toggle the Charging Locations slider on.
4. Select the Pencil icon next to Charging Locations.
5. Press + Add New Location.
6. Add the name of the charging location.

7. Use the slider next to Max Charge Level to set the maximum charge state. 

   Note: Ford recommends setting the Max Charge Level to no more than 90% to prolong battery life.

8. Select Next.
9. Set your preferred charging times.
10. Tap Next to save the charging location.
