What is the Ford warranty on batteries?

Ford's original vehicle batteries are covered for recharging and replacement during the first 3 years or 36,000 miles from the Warranty Start Date, whichever occurs first*.

Note: The unique Hybrid High Voltage battery is covered for 8 years or 100,000 miles from the Warranty Start Date, whichever occurs first*.

See your Ford Dealer to diagnose any concerns your vehicle may be experiencing. Your dealer is in the best position to determine if the repair or replacement of a part is covered by warranty.

Replacement Motorcraft® Battery

The warranty on Motorcraft batteries purchased outside the New Vehicle Limited Warranty will vary. See your dealer or Motorcraft retailer for warranty details and purchase information.
