Why was my Ford warranty canceled?
Ford Motor Company may cancel all or part of the manufacturer's warranty if your vehicle has excessive non-warrantable conditions, and you decline to complete the necessary repairs.
Warranty Reinstatement
To restore a canceled warranty:
- Repairs (otherwise covered under a valid warranty) must be completed at your expense, restoring the vehicle to original equipment (OE) standards. It is highly recommended that repairs be completed at your local Ford Dealer.
- Once repairs are performed, a Ford Dealer must review receipts and inspect the vehicle for consideration of warranty reinstatement.
Your dealer is in the best position to complete the necessary repairs and then request warranty reinstatement, which must be reviewed before determining if the warranty can be reinstated.
