Seven Distinct Drive Modes

The available Intelligent 4WD With Terrain Management System™ helps your SUV adapt to different road conditions. There's Eco, Normal for around-town driving, Sport for more spirited trips, Tow/Haul for improved towing and hauling performance, Grass/Gravel/Snow for loose terrain, Sand for low-traction situations, and Mud/Ruts for uneven surfaces. Manually select either 2WD or 4WD modes in each drive mode.

The Stealth Performance Edition package enhances the thrill of the drive. A 3.5L EcoBoost® High-Output engine delivers 440 horsepower68, alongside a dual exhaust system and a sport-tuned suspension.

Trail 1-Pedal Drive

Standard on the Timberline model, it augments Ford Trail Control™ in difficult terrain. This feature enables very low-speed crawling and the ability to stop a vehicle without using the brake pedal. When the driver lifts off the accelerator pedal, hydraulic brake torque is applied. *

Ford Trail Control™

Similar to cruise control, Ford Trail Control39 lets you select a desired speed and the system takes over. It controls acceleration and braking in challenging road conditions. Focus less on your brake and gas pedals, and more on the trail in front of you. Standard on the Timberline model.

Off-Road Performance

When dirt becomes mud, be ready. Activate the Control Trac® with eLSD 4WD System to lock the rear axle completely and optimize traction. Included on the Timberline model and available on all 4x4 models.
