Picking up a camera at 14 felt like destiny for Sofia. Her dad immediately encouraged her newfound hobby, and her writer/editor mom prompted Sofia to write stories to go along with her pictures. Seems it’s all worked out pretty well, with featured work in national publications and commercial assignments centered on her other passions: backpacking, skiing and biking. Sofia relies on her Bronco Sport SUV to get her from one extreme location to the next, feeling very much at home during long-term fieldwork. She’ll never turn back: “Follow what you love and trust it will take you where you want to go.”
