    Ford Pro™ Vehicle Integration System 2.0

    The Ford Pro™ Vehicle Integration System 2.0 is a hardware interface that provides a single-entry point to the Chassis Cab® model’s electrical architecture, digitally connecting the upfit to the vehicle. And peripheral devices such as salt spreaders, light boxes, etc. can now be directly controlled from the SYNC®27 screen inside the cab.

    Six Factory-Installed Auxiliary Upfitter Switches

    Six standard factory-installed auxiliary upfitter switches include two 40-amp switches (ignition on or off) plus four 25-amp switches (ignition on). What’s more, the switches with fuses and associated relays are integrated into the overhead console/storage compartment. Upfitter switches are a convenient way to connect a variety of aftermarket accessories (such as a winch, lights, strobes, two-way radio) to the vehicle’s electrical system. Because they’re factory-installed, there’s no need to cut into the truck’s electrical system when installing accessories. Convenient, easy to use and reliable. Standard on all Chassis Cab models.

    Connected Navigation

    Available Connected Navigation (1 year of Trial) is fully connected to and informed by internet-based data with maps that are frequently refreshed with the latest traffic and construction information, helping ensure customers are getting up-to-date info for their routes.12 Optional Connected Built-In Navigation also has the ability to share Yelp reviews with customers, as well as parking space availability and prices. SYNC 427 can understand conversational requests, such as “Find me the closest hardware store”, and offer data-based suggestions to drivers.

    Chassis Cab Information

    The XL and XLT have a standard 4.2" LCD productivity screen, while LARIAT® gets a 12" LCD productivity screen. It puts valuable information on a wide variety of vehicle functions in front of you, with up to seven screens readily available through My View (standard on LARIAT®). Among them is a screen displaying towing functions, such as trailer brake controller and transmission tow/haul settings, vehicle pitch and steering angle, and profiles of up to 10 trailers.
