Home Charging
Charging up at home has never been easier. When you buy or lease your new Ford electric vehicle between 10/1/2024 and 1/2/2025 you will receive a complimentary charger and standard installation.*
Home Charging FAQs
Which charger will I receive as part of the Ford Power Promise™?
You’ll receive the Ford Charge Station Pro with the purchase or lease of a new Ford F-150® Lightning® truck, Mustang Mach-E® SUV, or E-Transit™ Cargo Van from your dealer at the time of sale. Charger models may vary over time based on availability.
When my lease ends, do I need to return my home charger too?
You get to keep it — your charger is yours. We hope you will continue to enjoy it and all the other benefits of being a Ford electric vehicle owner.
How do I get my charger installed?
Standard installation will be performed by licensed electricians in your area through Qmerit Electrification LLC. You will receive an email from customerservice@qmerit.com shortly after purchase. Follow the instructions to get started with your installation process. We recommend following the instructions as soon as possible to make sure installation is completed before your offer ends. Installation must be completed by June 30, 2025.
What is considered a “standard” installation?"
A standard installation* will follow Qmerit’s guidelines:
- Installation is to be completed at a residential property (a single-family home, duplex, condo, or townhome) with a dedicated electrical meter.
- Charging hardware must be attached to the same structure as the main electrical panel.
- You will need to obtain any prior consent or approval from your homeowner’s association, property owner, or third party as applicable if you don not own your property.
Who can I reach out to for installation support?
You can contact Qmerit directly by phone: 1-949-504-9990 Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. EST or by email: fordpowerpromise@qmerit.com.
