What is Ford Home Backup Power?

Ford Home Backup Power turns your F-150 Lightning® into a backup generator for your house. It can help mitigate the effects of scheduled outages or rolling blackouts, powering your home even as your house goes off the grid.

If your F-150 Lightning is plugged in when an outage occurs, Home Backup Power can automatically activate to power your home. When power is restored, your truck will automatically revert to its planned charge schedule.
