CAPABILITY THAT EMPOWERS YOUR DRIVE

Designed with enhanced handling and traction capabilities including the available Intelligent All-Wheel Drive (AWD). Ford Transit® models help power your wheels and your drive.

AVAILABLE INTELLIGENT ALL-WHEEL DRIVE (AWD)

Ford Transit® models are up to the task when the road takes a different turn with snow, uneven surfaces or gravel. This system maximizes traction before wheelslip can even occur. Now, that’s smart.

ALL-WHEEL DRIVE

Available Intelligent All-Wheel Drive (AWD) balances torque between the front and rear wheels to enhance handling and maximize traction, typically before wheelslip can even occur. Help build confidence on loose surfaces like dirt or gravel and often rainy or snowy weather.

BUILT TO HANDLE THE JOB

The Ford Transit® has been subjected to seven million customer-equivalent miles of testing in our labs and proving grounds. Testing was also held on roads and highways across America at temperatures ranging from -40 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit. We used trucks driven by robots at our Michigan Proving Grounds facility to conduct tests that would be too strenuous for human drivers over an extended period of time. Our objective: enable Transit® to offer strength and dependability in your everyday jobs.
